Base filename in column detail

Is it possible to have a column with just the base file name (name before the period)?

x2 honors the windows setting for this.
To hide most file extensions, go to:

Start | Control Panel | {in the Appearance category} Folder Options | View ...
and on the Advanced settings: list, check the option
[_] Hide extensions for known file types.
