List view order

Post by john1111 »

Why the List of files is not in Alphabetic order? Is there something I have to do to have all files and folders listed in the same order as Windows Explorer? Thanks a lot.

Assuming you've already clicked on the 'Name' column for sorting, and it's the folders which are out of order, go to Tools -> Options -> Window -> Folders Sorted and select "As Files".

Thanks for your answer. No the Folders are listed correctly. The files are not listed correctly like Windows Explorer on the contrary does. I cannot attach a picture to this post but the problem is that if I have files named with numbers like 01, 02, 03, 11, etc and files named with letters like abc, dcd, opf, etc, they are not listed in order. Thanks again.[/u]

use Tools > Options > Advanced page, natural number sort mode
