I'd like to change the color used for the selected items in the active pane.  I've searched high and low and am finding plenty of info on changing other colors but not the selected/highlighted items.

I'm constantly moving lots of files around and in doing so, select multiple files to move from one pane to another.  My problem is, the selected items are highlighted in a very light blue/grey color and nearly indistinguishable from the items that haven't been selected.  Is there a way to change the color of the selected items highlight to something a little darker that would be a little more noticeable?

try disable some vista effects option from Tools > Advanced options (global page)

Thanks Nikos that seemed to be the setting I was needing!  That made a huge difference  :P
