On Win Vista, incorrect User names

Post by Mark51 »

Using Xplorer2 Lite on Win Vista Home Premium SP2.
Why do the User names not show correctly?
In the Left-side window, it shows...
Desktop
 CorrectUserName
 Computer
   Partition1(C)
     Users
       BadUserName1
       BadUserName2

and in the Right-side windows, only the incorrect UserNames are shown.

?

Thanks.

Using Xplorer2 version 2.1.0.2 [Ansi] LITE 5/22/2012

Win Explorer shows the same incorrect info:
Desktop
CorrectUserName
Computer
  Partition1(C)
    Users
      BadUserName1
      BadUserName2

Does anybody else have that problem?

And another thing: not really a problem, though...
Xplorer2 shows...
Desktop
CorrectUserName
Computer
  Partition1(C)
  DVD RW Drive (E)
  Removable Disk (F)
  Removable Disk (G)
  Removable Disk (H)
  Removable Disk (I)

while Win Explorer show better information...
Desktop
CorrectUserName
Computer
  Partition1(C)
  DVD RW Drive (E)
  Compact Flash (F)
  xD/SM (G)
  SD/MMC (H)
  Memory Stick (I)

I really Do Like Xplorer2,
but WinExplorer seems to show more high-tech info in that one instance.

Thanks.

Are you using Unicode characters in the user names?

Are you running 64 bit Vista?

Thanks very much for the input, people.

Unicode characters?: only Alpha and Numeric.
Like, Mark34
No Spaces, even...  (is that even possible in a UserName?)

Yes...  64-bit Vista.

Help?

Thanks, again.
