I don't know many Greeks, so I can't comment, but still an amusing post. That description applies to many Brits too though - have you ever listened to radio phone-ins here?

each country has its share of idiots, but down there it's a majority, especially considering that it is 5 times (at least) smaller population than the uk. Smaller sample it should have less idiots, but alas

sadly nothing much has changed. The biggest problem is that thieves (with costumes/suits mostly) go unpunished. The present government supposedly made an effort to limit corruption, but I haven't heard of anyone actually convicted or made to pay/go to prison.

kick us out of the euro? I don't think so. You see greece ows to germans, so they won't do anything that is going to lose them money. They aren't going to let us go bankrupt in any way or fashion. The latest 'help' loans are underwritten in public property and even private savings accounts. So germans/french can't lose. I don't know what's going to be left after the creditors suck out the life of greeks. I am thinking of moving out!

And I thought it was the ruins. What do the tourists come to see?
