So you took the pains to include quasi-spyware functions in your software. More power to you, and a mandatory search for alternatives for the sensible users of lite version.

In a perfect world, people would actually read an article before commenting on something.  This has nothing to do with xplorer2, it's a separate project in which email plays a fundamental notification role and so requires a different approach - just like all those backup/server programmes that allow you to send notification/log attachments for business purposes.

Well of course your illegal keys are tracked - that's standard procedure for everything on the internet (nobody's that innocent anymore... Cynical, yes; Innocent, no).

It has nothing to do with using a DLL that, as was pointed out in the article, is installed on all Windows machines precisely for the automation of SMTP.  No one needs to go through all that hassle just to do something your browser does about 35 times a second for free.  However, should anyone ever wish to set up an email farm, it's a good place to start, and again, has nothing to do with xplorer2.

I would prefer some "if you use gmail, stop!".

billou31, I need this thread for people posting on topic while being within the realm of reason. Why don't you hit the X button to delete your posts?
