The original manuscript of "A Christmas Carol"
Thanks for Easy Image Uploader.
The NY Times recently featured the original Dickens manuscript of A Christmas Carol in an article http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/ ... rol&st=cse and an online version http://documents.nytimes.com/looking-ov ... -carol#p=1. It is fascinating to see Dickens' edits and read the original rather than see a film adaptation.

Is it an idea to give the tool a commandline? In that way I can give it an hotkey in xplorer2 and then it loads up the current file? Something like
ezUpload "filename" /service=tinypic
Extra options:
/readclip for importing the clipboard
/putclip puts the resultstring in the clipboard
/nogui does not shown the user interface for usage with /putclip?
Then it makes the whole process much more easier. Then it becomes like: Use xplorer2 to locate the picture. Hit the hotkey. Go to the forum and paste.
Just some thoughts to make life more easy (read lazy).

I didn't try the tool completely, so I wan't thinking correctly. So forget the /putclip. And seeing the gui is not a problem when it automatically closes.nikos wrote:this is an interesting suggestion although i can't think of any other way to "return" the result URL except in the clipboard
also we can't be without GUI (tinypic is a PITA) but the gui could close automatically

It it just me or is there some magnificent* irony in the fact that searching for a file utilises the internal WE routines?
Yes, I know the reasons for this, I'm just highlighting a giggle or two at Nikos' expense.
At least the Libraries work (that's the second giggle.)

Ah yes, this is going to be a nice day in spite of the rain, and it's not even midday.

Don't they have a webservice for uploading the files? In that way you don't need a browser for handling the file.nikos wrote:some people had problems with this new tool. It looks like internet explorer v8 has the file input box always readonly for security reasons of course, so this ezUploader won't work. I have to go back to the drawing board
this affects people with IE8 (eg if you have windows 7)
The following I found for you for imageshack:
