Storage of Settings in INI-File

Hello to all,

first a thank to nikos for the 2explorer program.

i am looking forward to using th new xplorer2 program.

Now to my question:
I have several pieces of software where i have the option to save settings to an ini file instead of the registry. When i use them in a Lan-Environment stored in a share, i always have my settings ready no matter where i logon. Would it be possible to give an option for this (could be in the shareware version perhaps)?

Platforms i use are NT4 W2K and XP

Welcome, to the evolving world of x2, Holger.
From what I've seen, you will love it.

But, as busy as nikos is birthing these "babies²", I doubt your suggestion will make it into the initial release (free- or share- ware)

In fact, I had made that suggestion once (midstream in another topic), but it got no support.
Maybe with some badgering, nikos will put it on his list for v2.
