Mass Rename - default to lower case
how can lower case be made the default instead of upper?

1. Filenames are displayed as typed: UPPER or lower case;
2. I can't believe you have the CapsLock ON;
3. Your allegation doesn't make sense unless ... [AHA!] you are speaking of the way the token helper dispenses tokens from the pull-down list.
Insofar as I know, there is no setting to get lowercase by default.
But the list is so short, that if you use it much at all, you will have it memorized before you know it
... so just type the tokens in lowercase where you want 8.3-style naming & don't bother with the special token dispenser ... it's faster that way.

thnx fgagnon - good shot - you fixed it - but not as expected
I was already using typed lower case but when I switched to Upper case it works fine so ... I must learn to follow help text exlicitly

BTW the author should look at the rename function of Explorer addon DMEXBAR - most impressive - it permits a bit more flexibility - such as inserting into a filename
