Is there a way to make Xplorer2 always show folder sizes? Or maybe to toggle it on/off and have it stay onn until I force it off? Folder size is a super powerful feature but I have to hit Ctrl-D every time I change folders. It'd be great to be able to force it to tay on until I wanted it to go off.
I read the docs, couldn't find a solution.
I can edit the registry if needed.
Thanks.

Not currently, so far as I know.
I believe it was deemed a performance issue to always show folder sizes -- especially true for deep folder structures such as are common on multi-user networks and which have constantly changing content.
But if enough users can argue objectively** for it, there's always the possibility that nikos might add it at a future date.
** describe how useful it is for doing real file management tasks (as opposed to it's nice & comforting to see)

The value lies in cleaning out crowded disk drives. My kids, and sometimes my colleagues, save way too much stuff and the drive starts to fill up. No matter how big the drive, they seem able to fill it, especially now that video files can be a gigabyte!!
So, when cleaning things up, I use the folder size function to easily dentify which folders are the fat ones and then I go in and clean them out if appropriatte.
