it's not the licence, it is the wasted effort
without a VS6-compatible resource file, the translation will have to be repeated every time there's an upgrade, no matter how small!

I can understand your sensus,I translate the first Free software is Notepad2, a small ,fast,and powerful text editor.I use resource hacker translate.Upgrade each time all and very much painful!

If I want to translate the xplorer2,Should I how commit?Must install the VS6?

to be honest, i'm not sure how the translation in chinese is possible at all! The resource (RC) file is plain text, so how could you save the translated chinese characters is beyond me! But there must be a way, surely, only i don't know it!

unfortunately resource hacker files are not compatible with what i use
if you want me to use your translation i'll send you the real RC file so that you can paste your translations there. Please send me a personal message with your email

there are already 2 people working on the french translation
but probably they're on holidays since it's been sometime i've heard from any of them
