xplorer² and XHTML 1.0

Post by ckit »

Nikos, do you know that the "²" in xplorer² is illegal for XHTML 1.0 scripting (I can't remember if it's Strict or Trans.) The only workaround I can see is to use 2 instead for XHTML 1.0.

I found this out while playing with my homepage with Amaya 8.5, going from HTML 4.01 Trans. to XHTML 1.0 Trans.

I put the ² in my XHTML and it validates through w3c with no problems. doctype is Transitional. I use ALT+0178 to write it, btw.
