Ran into a problem over the weekend when I went to bookmarks and tried the samples. The ftp sample opened im my right pane and then screwed everthing up. I couldn't find a way to remove it and a box kept opening telling me windows couldn't get out or something. Finally decided to try quitting the program and restarting but that didn't help. When to control panel and removed program and then reinstalled and the same screens came up. Uninstalled again and went to the registry and found a lot of entries including one under the name zabkatxplorerlite plc or similar name. It seemed to have all the settings under it. So I deleted this and then reinstalled.
Can someone tell me how I could have got out of that pane without uninstalling and why doesn't the remove programs remove the registry entries?
Installed under XP home.
Bookmarks problem and removing program from registry.

I could not reproduce any hang with XP-pro
I did get error mesaage, from which I could
1. click away [OK] - then
2. Alt+leftarrow to back pane out to previous valid dir.
- also found at 2. that pressing [Esc] a couple of times put the pane at the desktop.
- also found at 2. r-click on pane heading & pick a valid dir worked.
etc.
...
But then I don't have XP-home, so the above may not apply to your case.
comment -- the sample ftp bookmark is not a valid ftp-site, and was put there only as a 'pattern' to use for a near-browsing experience at known ftp sites to which you have access (you must have a valid connection to the ftp site you are trying to access).

I possibly didn't try those things but it was 1.00 a.m. and I was getting tired I sure tried clicking a lot of buttons from the headings. The back key didn't take me anywhere it just made the box pop up again. In fact most of what I did seemed to get it to try to ftp and produced the error. I have deleted that sample.
