Double extensions

Impressive product -- Very nice manual!

Displaying 'name' and 'extension' columns shows the file name complete with extension -- i.e. the extension is shown twice, and makes reading the filename harder.

Can the 'name' column be made to display the name only?

The possible columns include both 'name' and 'full name', implying that this was intended ??

Using Folder Options (in Start|Settings menu or Start |Settings| Control Panel menu), select Hide file extensions for known file types option.

That will turn off the extensions in the name column.

Press ALT+K (Select columns) and Remove 'Extension' column
