'Tip Of The Day' Problem

Hi there!
Being a new Xplorer2 member, I've tried to search for other instances of this problem without success. As advised when installing, I left 'Tip Of The Day' running, as it gave me a useful introduction to Xplorer2, however, I now cannot turn it off...
For every new instance of Xplorer2, the 'Tip Of The Day' window appears, but unchecking the 'Show Me Tips Every Day' does not make it go away...
Anybody else experienced this problem...??

You probably have unchecked [_] Save program state on exit
on the Tools | Options "General" tab.

To force x2 to remember this change without activating the above setting,
click on Save settings now (on the Actions menu)
... after unchecking the 'Show Me Tips Every Day' again, of course.
