Problem Accessing Axim5 Pocket PC Mobile Device

Hi,

Like most everyone else here, love Xplorer2. Handles virtually everything that Explorer does (and a lot more).

However, one thing it doesn't seem to understand is how to display my Axim5 Pocket PC as Explorer can (in regular Explorer, there is a namespace for "Mobile Device" in the root of the file tree).

In regular Explorer, when I click on Mobile Device, I then see a file & dir listing of the Pocket PC.

Now Xplorer2 will show the Mobile Device link...

listed as ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D} in the address bar

...but when I click on the link, nothing happens for a few seconds.

Doh!

Then the display finally goes back to the root (listing all the regular drives).

Of course, because Xplorer2 cannot display the file system on the Pocket PC, it secondly cannot display the large SD card attached to my Pocket PC either.

Double doh!

I still have to use at least one regular Explorer window for transferring files to/from the SD card. Blah.

these guys that wrote these namespace extensions had only explorer in mind. I don't think you'll find any other file manager that reads them either

at some future stage i'll research into the issue
