Tab positions

Here's another small thing: Would it be possible, and would it interest anyone else, to have the tab positions be pane-specific? For example, could we have the tabs appear on the bottom of one pane and on the top of another?

I ask because I have my panes positioned vertically, one on top of the other, and I was thinking it might be nice to see the upper pane's folder tabs right above the bottom pane's tabs. In this way, all the tabs would be easily visible, right there in the middle.

Just a thought.

So be it--it's a minor thing. But maybe later? If others think it would be nice.
