Yet another hover selection question/problem... I'm sorry!
Is it possible to set x2 so that hover selection only works in the ACTIVE pane in an effor to mimic how Windows Explorer would work with two windows open? If I want to use hover selection in the opposite pane, I'd like to first have to click in the pane. Also, with "eat first click" selected, hopefully clicking on a file ONCE in the inactive pane, even with single click activated, wouldn't execute the file.
If this isn't possible, are there any thoughts on an implementation in a future release? I really like using single click activation and hover selection, and having x2 automatically change focus from one pane to another just because I'm moving the mouse cursor across it to get to something else on the desktop has gotten to be a bit annoying.

this isn't possible
i am very reluctant to touch the common view code any more since it is extremely complex as it is and any workarounds are more likely to introduce new bugs left and right than fix such "features"
not to mention that turning this mode off will certainly annoy some people that actually want this activation mode
