LOCKS UP WHEN LOADING

I am trying to load it up it keeps lockling up on loading

I am on XP SP1. It was working for a while but started playing up and locking the other day, first I thought mabye my computer needed rebooting so I didn't bother repoirting it but after a reboot it still locks up

perhaps it tries to reload a folder that no longer exists
try the following command line (a desktop shortcut would do it)

  xplorer2.exe /T /1 c:\

I had the same sort of problem last week, where x2 would try to start & then bomb out.  
It seemed the problem was that one of the tabs was set to the floppy drive A: when I had quit, and I had subsequently removed the floppy before restarting x2.  
I got it to restart by editing the szLeftTabs regsitry variable to remove reference to the floppy drive.  {I don't know why I just didn't put the diskette back in, instead.}
I didn't report it because I couldn't get the failure to repeat. :shrug:

the new command line argument /T can help since it stops tabs getting restored, so you can control the path completely from the command line -- no registry hacking!
