Ctrl+Backspace while renaming file or editing address?

Post by cybersnoop »

In almost every windows textbox hitting CTRL+Backspace while editing the text deletes a logical part from the text (in most text until the previous whitespace).

In xplorer² (lite) it doens't do so for the address textbox nor for the file renaming textbox. Could you please add this functionality?

In fairness, winExplorer also does not backspace-delete in rename field for filenames, either. (Both winExp & x2 insert a 'strange' character.)

But the requested behaviour in the address field would yield a benefit of reducing keystrokes upon occasion.  Not to mention that it would make x2 consistent with other file & web-browsing apps, including IE & Firefox.

So this is a half-endorsement for the suggestion. ;)
