The behaviour of Windows Explorer is different from what is suggested here. Changing the sort order doesn't take you to the top of the view, but simply stays where it is focused!!
Just do the following and you'll see:
Browse to a large folder with many files so they don't fit into the view window (a scrollbar on the right indicates this). Now scroll down so the top item is no longer visible. Now change the sort order (by any column, doesn't matter which one) and see that the view window still is in the same place, but that different items are visible due to the change in sort order. Not at the top at all!!
This is not the behaviour you all wanted is it? So Nikos, stick with the current implementation, since it is better than what M$ Explorer offers. That extra 'Home' key won't hurt anyone and it makes the behaviour of X² more consistent.
