hard link

what is a hard link, I have scoured the help file, but do not understand!!

is it a way of saving the display of 2 folders you want to compare so that it is easy to bring those 2 folders into view again?

hard links are also mentioned in the quickstart guide (search for link). I bet there's a tip about them too

the quickstart guide is available from the Help menu
so is the full manual, but you may need to download it first
alternatively check the folder you installed x2 in
