Dual pane display

Post by rbcross »

Is there any way to have xplorer2 display in a dual horizontal window?  Basically it would have a folder list on the left side and file list on the right, this feature would just allow you to have one set on top and the other on the bottom of the viewing window.

If it is not there, can it be added?

Thanks!

Try Tools, Options, Window, Dual pane alignment, horizontal. Enjoy.

I did that, but it didn't make a difference.  Any other settings that I need to select?

Thanks!

You mean to say that your files panes (dual pane mode) didn't show up on on top of the other in stead of next to eachother after changing this option?

Or is it reset to vertical panes when you quit and open it again? If this last situation occurs, check if you've got 'Save program state on exit' enabled! (Tools|Options|General tab)
Dumb questions are the ones that are never asked :turn:

if you are looking for a separate folder tree for each pane this isn't possible
if you are trying to get rid of the 2nd folder pane, try ctrl+O

That is exactly what I was looking for.  I see that ExplorerPlus by Novatix supports this option and I was hoping that Xplorer2 did as well.

Thanks!
