Mozilla ActiveX Control

Post by ricmarte »

Hi all;

 I use Edit+ (http://editplus.com) for quick HTML editing.   Edit+ has a seamless broswer to preview your html files, based on the IE engine.  Using the Mozilla ActiveX Control, you can now use Firefox's Gecko engine to render the pages.  The link is below:

 I am not sure how pages are rendered in X2's preview but I thought this might be informative for those who prefer using Firefox.  Perhaps this ActiveX can be used to render html in X2 using the Gecko engine. :shrug:

x2 uses "explorer" for its internet previews
at some future stage it will be using IE as an activeX for more detailed rendering
it's good to know that there are alternatives!
(although most people won't have this mozilla activeX installed)
