ALPHA IFilters for the preview

Has anyone managed to get the IFilters from Citeknet that are linked in the quick reference guide to work? I've tried the ZIP and CHM and once installed they cause xplorer2 to crash when you click on one of these filetypes. I've tried on two machines (both xp pro sp2) with the same results, so wondered if they were working for others?

eg when a .zip file is clicked on, the last line of the debug window shows:

2300: found IFilter for bin file x2docs.zip

and then it crashes.

xplorer2 works great with PDF, DOC and XLS so I'm guessing it's not its problem?

to be frank, i just found these filters when i was researching the subject and never tested them... big mistake! :oops:

does it crash all the time? what about when you are just searching for text without the preview window on?

ok i think i sorted the problem out
these guys do some "unexpected" (naff?

) things i had to guard against

here's 1108 that includes the celebrated "singleinstance" mode
