All Menu Options Grayed Out?

Post by baja463 »

Using Product Build: 1.4.1.12 of 2X Explorer.

When I open Explorer, all menu options are active and available to me.

However, if I touch one object, all menu options go grayed out.

If I exit and restart the menu options are once again active.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance,
Bill

By design in 2xExplorer, the tree pane is for navigating only (no file management actions are active when the focus is there)
Also by design, menu items are grayed out when they do not apply to the focussed item.
Select an item in either folder pane and your menus should return to life.

... and, yes, the Help menu should always be available; but, alas, it isn't when focus is in the tree pane. And 2xExplorer is no longer in development; so no updates will be forthcoming.  I find it better to use the more powerful and more versatile xplorer² products.  The Lite version is completely free, and the Pro version has a free 30-day trial period.

Mr G:

Took your advice and downloaded xplorer² ... whoa.

Doesn't compare to 2xExplorer ... which I justr removed.  Now I'm a new convert to xplorer².

Thanks again for the advice.
