drag and drop in editor 2

in the latest version of editor 2 (2.6.0.5) I can't drag and drop words with the mouse.
could you help me please ?

Confirmed. The CTRL and SHFT also don't work with drag-n-drop operations..

Yet, I can d&d with no problem with my Editor² ver:2.6.0.5

{checked on XP, sp1}
also checked later on XP, sp2
with both E² v2.6.0.5 & v2.6.0.6 ...
all d&d's are fully functional

On Win XP (SP1), it does not work.
On NT4 it works!

my os is windows xp sp2
sometimes d&d works sometimes not ,especially on files that are only temp files (when you just open editor2) drag and drop doesn't work in the lastest version.
however it works with the previous versions.

I just made another try with the latest version and it works.
I don't understand why it works sometimes and sometimes not.

By any chance is E² in readonly mode ?
D&D won't work unless you are in edit mode.
(Use F6 to toggle between these 2 modes.)

Neither in my case.

In fact, all other edit controls work (CTRL+X/V etc). Only the D&D does not.
(in my case it never works.)

The problem is seen only in very recent versions...

you mean that it is in edit mode? (you can change the text)
drag-drop is only going to work in edit mode

In my case ed2 is in edit mode (not in "read-only" mode).

All other controls work except the D&D, which never works. (It is not intermittent in my case).

where did you find the editor v 2.6.0.6 ?
I thought the latest version was 2.6.0.5
I made another try today : drag and drop doesn't work
but when you try it with an older version it works and if you try after in the latest version it is ok
(ps: in windows xp sp2)

Ed² v2.6.0.6 is bundled with the latest x2 v1.1.0.91 beta release
