First of all many thx for offering xplorer² Lite to the world. I love the intuitive interface and its wide array of functionalities. But I have a question concerning secure copying of files. Is support for winSCP (open source freeware SFTP client for Windows using SSH/Legacy SCP protocol) being considered (maybe through registry setting similar for alternative 'find files' software) ?

that's not an option but you can have a user command associated to anything external, including copiers. e.g.
would copy the selection to the inactive folder using your program
if you update to pro version you can assign a shortcut key for it too
