Xplorer2 Pro is a GREAT program - thanks for all your effort!
I just upgraded to version 1.2 (from 1.1) and after installation all of my customized toolbar icons are gone. Can I get my previous configuration back? Is it stored in a file somewhere? Or do I have to reconfigure all over again (hopefully not)?
Thanks for your assistance...

did you uninstall 1.1 before installing 1.2?
if you have, and if you picked "delete registry settings" then i'm afraid you have reset everything...
if you keep any registry backups or if you have exported x2's settings ever to another PC you'll be able to get everything back
is it just toolbars you find reset or everything? (e.g. check your bookmarks, path histories etc)

I did NOT uninstall ver 1.1 Nothing indicated that I needed to do that,
and I don't recall being asked to save registry entries when I installed ver 1.2. I don't use bookmarks, so I can only tell that I no longer have my customized toolbar.
I would expect an upgrade to save my settings from the previous version. I spent a lot of time configuring the program just the way I wanted it.
Thanks!

in such a case you shouldn't have any problems!
could it be that you were using the lite version before and now switched to pro? The lite version is ansi, and most likely if you are on XP/2000 the pro version will be unicode; ansi/unicode versions save their settings in different registry keys
when you run the old version do you get your customized toolbars?
