I have done a search in the forum for the answer, but have had no luck.
I am use to the 2x way of sorting.
..and in xplorer2, when I click on the modified date tab the list does not "Stay at the top". I have to scroll back up to the top. - Which is a very big pain- as much as I use it.
is there a way to adjust the settings to not auto select the first thing in the list, so when sorting, the "file pane" does not follow the file, and stays at the "top most". So there will be "no scrolling" needed to see the latest modified file?
Thanks for your help. (xplorer2 is great! BTW)
Disable auto-selecting first item in file pane

Not that I am aware of.
In fact, as I recall, it was a consensus (if not overwhwelming majority) recommendation by early users to keep the current item in focus after sorting -- & that is what nikos implemented.
So, for now the best way I can recommend to quickly show the top of a long list is to take your hand off the dirty rodent & hit the Home key.
