Is this a bug?

When keyboard focus on the tree pane, the menu commands "go to\back" and "go to\forward" do not work, the short-cut keys alt+left and alt+right don't work either. Is this a bug or by design?

the tree has its own key assignments
there alt+right expands completely a branch whereas alt+left does nothing
in general, only a few commands are available when the tree has the focus
