My English is not so good, what does "stock media" means? Are those like "Artist" and "Duration"? Probably not, started 1201 and that also works....

One question, I can't say what it is, but somehow it looks different? Did you do something in the layout, the graphics? Tried it several times, probably just imagination.

Like the subfolder comparison. I know that i can use scrap panes, but that was indeed too much work, so I had never done it before, I compare the most important folders always by hand. Now I can be lazy again, thank you.

In general, most of the changes are the things that we were missing in the past, but couldnt' complain about it, because xplorer2 gave already so much. :-)

appearance wise nothing much changed except for the back/forward toolbar buttons

the new stock columns i am referring to are: width[S] height[S] picture date[S] and song title[S]. They are only available in XP. Has anybody managed to see a MP3 song title? (ID3 tags necessary)

Installed the ID3 software that is in your messagebox when xplorer2 started. No songtitle[S] here. :-(

But maybe this is due to the fact that Indexing service is not starten (see another thread http://forum.zabkat.com/viewtopic.php?p=19315#19315 )

no, this column should be available without installing any extra column handlers. Are you using XP?

Yes, XP Professional SP1.  :? Not planning to install SP2, yet.

(added later) Oh, and width and height are working.

Yes, I did discover that "Song title[S]" column. And it is active, but no Song titles visible. Do you want to know more about my system?

And I installed this MP3 filter program that is mentioned in the starting screen, and checked the MP3-info tab.  And that says there is a songtitle. Or should this sofware be removed and then check the songtitle?

no you can leave it
there are a few columns that overlap like that, e.g. explorer (and x2) has this "Album title" (or however it's called in dutch :)) that should match with one of this MP3 extension column.

it looks like the song title is somehow missing, perhaps that's why m$ left it out in the first place. I'll have to remove it myself :(

Hi Nikos;

I can see the song title if I use the regular "Title" column.  If I use "Song Title" I can't see the MP3 title.

This occurs in the latest 1.3 alpha and the previous alpha.

I am using XP Pro SP2

1204 is missing ? :-)

The assert problem with this special file I'll send you (DDEDATA.XLM) is still there, but 1204 and 1205 was maybe not about fixing that problem?

You removed Songtitle[S]? I couldn't find it anymore  :D Ok, no problem.
