Italian translation

I'm missing so much the Italian translation in version 1.2...

as you may know, the original italian translator "deserted" the assignment, did a runner, whatever you want to call it

you could get the job if you are familiar with resource editing and have visual studio 6 or something equivalent

No Visual Studio license for me...
but I'm a spare time programmer using MingW/gcc, so I know how to edit a resource script (and, to a little extent, even how to code

)

You can also download Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition for free from MS website.
I use that

yes but unfortunately it has no resource editor for visual C++ so it isn't of any use with our translations
