Is the improved HTML previewer still in the works?

I recall Nikos said he was hoping to provide a better HTML previewer last Autumn and a few readers mentioned they would like an actual HTML editor built in. I am not sure about that but I still feel the quality of the HML previewer is poor compared to other competitors which offer HTML preview (not all do). I still prefer if I could just get a better quality preview of the HTML page in the same place as where an RTF or TXT preview etc appears. I am sure better viewers are available that handle HTML and TXT/RTF as I tried one as a standalone which is also builr into some other explorer replacements.

checkout the latest beta, html preview is sorted along with all sorts of other documents

it's going to be a pro-only feature though
