Drive map info cannot be refreshed
If I map a drive letter to a share, delete the map and remap the same letter to a different share, the first sharename and machine name are still used in the left pane. The only way I've found to clear out the incorrect information is to restart xplorer².

confirmed ... ( good catch ! )
In fact not only does the folderpane maintain the wrong name; but the wrong name propagates back to the treepane -- although the correct drive is mapped.
Confirmed on XPsp2 with x2_Lite & Pro v.1302
& refreshing doesn't update to the correct the name.
And I opened 2xExplorer to verify that the windoze shell has the correct mapping and names: it does.

Harm would be in subsequent user actions from x2 mis-labelling the drives.
Like deleting files from newmapped_Z: because x2 still calls it oldmapped_Z:
Also loss of time (efficiency) trying to keep things straight in the confusion.
It is not easy keeping track of which is which from looking at the contents when using similar file structures on both.

No
The mapped drive CONTENTS are refreshed ... but under the former mapped drive name.
[edit/add:] Revisiting 2xExplorer performance ...
It's not clean either: It keeps using the old name if the remapping was done outside 2x ... and sometimes even when done within 2x, but I don't see the pattern.
PS - It seems to me that the shell must keep mapped drive name aliases separately from normal content data. I note that x2 picks the aliases up ok on startup, but just not with standard refresh.
