My documents missing in tree

Post by maverick »

I guess  :?  due to a certain key combination I have lost the "My Documents" in the tree view. Can someone help me to get it back?

- Reinstall will not help.
- Deleting registry keys will not help.

where do you see "my documents", straight underneath desktop?
can you see it in the right pane when you are browsing desktop?
i can't think of any reason, try rebooting or using an other explorer replacement like 2xExplorer to compare

Ok problem solved.

"My Documents" where not vissible on the desktop.
(dbl click My Computer, tools, folder options, view, show my documents on the desktop)
Relaunch 2xExplorer and there it was again.

I have also noted that it affects some other programs as well (AutoCad)and some other.
Strange that the normal explorer was not affected

Thanks for the response and the click in my brain.
