How can I get files to unselect when I click on a new one?

Post by arvo »

Hi. I've been using xplorer2 1.3 lite for a few weeks and suddenly I'm having an annoying problem. I've got a folder open in the middle pane and am trying to click on a file in order to rename it. But other files are selected too, and I can't un-select them!

Okay, I see that I can unselect them by clicking on them again. But I don't like this way of the previous file remaining selected as I click on new ones. I want that to happen only if I click while holding down CTRL key, as in other programs. I want the last selected file to be unselected when I click on a new one.

Is there a way to do this? Thanks.

Maybe I activated some option without being aware of it, by hitting the wrong key combo, is what I'm hoping happened.

Otherwise I like the program very much and would never go back to using Explorer.

it looks like you've turned on sticky selection; you can turn it off from Mark menu
