Display the Search condition - Desirable feature-enhancement

The following feature can be added to search:

During/after the search, the search condition is not shown. Although it is possible to see it again by pressing CTRL+F, I think it would be preferable to see it right at the top of the search box.

Oh, yes- forgot to add the bit about the search function in help files:

The search box vanishes after searching the help file only once for the desired text. To find each subsequent instance, you have to invoke it once again by pressing CTRL+F.

Suggestion:

Two possible improvements:

1. The search box should stay till a user closes it.
2. All the instances in the file can be highlighted all at once. User can then scroll and see what he wants.

BTW: feedback to the webmaster-- the red angry "smilie" on line-2 cannot be selected!

But then again, could anyone be that much upset with Niko's lovely products??

many improvements are in the pipeline for x2's find files command, just be patient!

when it comes to searching text in the editor/viewer, you don't have to press [Ctrl+F] for subsequent searches, just use [F3] to find the next occurence (ed2 also supports [Shift+F3] for going backwards)
