Most likely the size limit set in Tools | Options..., on the General tab for Thumbnails is smaller than the image files of interest.
To enable for large pics, either increase the limit, or set it to 0 for no limit.
I have the same problem. When I tried your solution I found the Thumbnails section grayed out and I was unable to change the setting. Any idea of what to try next?
Thanks
supposing your system can support thumbnails (active desktop required) and observing the size limits that fred mentioned, you should be able to see them
if not, there could be a problem with image associations in the registry... see the FAQ page for more info
are we talking no thumbnails at all or the problem is limited to only some file types?
I too had this problem.
I have now changed the thumbnail byte file size setting to zero and all works OK, but it required a reboot.
However, I have no draft/normal tab on the preview pane (Alt-Q), is this just a feature of the pro version?
Cheers,
Pete
In x2 Lite, the quickview pane has only the "Draft" mode.
(When nikos added the "Normal" mode view to x2 Pro, he kept the earlier capability and called it "Draft".)
