I am trying to put xplorer lite on a server and allow multiple users to access it. Is it possible to customize the view globally?
I'd like to turn off the "dual-panes" and the "tips" window by default. Also, turn off the disclaimer that loads when you first access xplorer lite.
I am doing some testing, if I can figure it out on the free version, I plan on buying the Professional version.
Thanks!
Setting up xplorer Lite for multiple users

x2 stores its settings in the registry (HKCU) for each user
so what you can do is set it up to your liking and then replicate the registry key for all other users (not sure if there's an easy way to automate that but executing REG file on startup is one possibility)
btw please note that the lite version is only free for private and academic use, so unless these users of yours are in a college or similar, you must acquire licence(s) for the pro version

Wish there was a way...
I wish there was a way to setup xplorer lite to save its registry settings under local machine and not local user, then this would be possible.
I am just demoing the product before I buy, looks like it would be a lot of work to get it to do what I want. We have to many users to try and send out the registry settings for each. Guess I'll have to look somewhere else.
If you have any other ideas please let me know.
Thanks!

I'd prefer...
Our users would basically be using xplorer just to view directories and files, so I wouldn't need any of these features. Would be nice to be able to disable this as well within the registry.
I'll explain our problem. We use citrix to connect to the software package I manage. Within this software we have links to directories for users to access spreadsheets, pdfs, word documents, etc. Problem is when using Citrix it doesn't associate Windows Explorer to these links and the program blows up. Thats why I am looking for a simple Windows Explorer replacement, if there was a way to turn off the dual pane and initial messages I'd be set.
ExplorerXP seems to be the closest thing I have found so far, but it has some bugs as well.
