a little help please

This is a little difficult to explain, but here goes...Whenever I open the "c drive" or click the 'my computer" icon it opens with Windows Explorer but when I open a folder within one of those 2 places it opens with xplorer2 lite. It almost seems that somehow xplorer2 made itself be the default app for opening folders. How can I make one or the other (xplorer2 or Windows Explorer) the default app and not have both of them open? I apologize if this has been anwered before.

(i take it that you have made x2 the default folder app as explained in registry.txt)
if you want x2 to open drives too, then repeat whatever is explained for the "Directory" "file type" for the "Drives" file type. YOu'll find that under HKCR in the registry
