Any chance of adding a thumbnail pane style? Like in Explorer under XP you can see the thumbnails of all the pics in the current directory.
Thumbnail view is the only reason I use regular Explorer any more. The little popup thumbnail window in 2xExplorer just doesn't do it for me.
I was rilly hoping the latest 2x would add that, but no. :(

although the case for 2xExplorer is closed & sealed for good, thumbnail view could be something to be considered for x2, although at this moment i haven't got the foggiest of how to do it as there's no built-in "thumbnail" view mode in the list control views use for displaying items
we can only hope one of these nights i come up with an inspiration of some sort or other :)

Until the day comes when it a viewer can work the way you want it to, here is a right menu substitute that works for me.

As I understand, the wish was to have a "thumbnail" view in which thumbnails of multiple items can be simultaneously viewed in a pane.
Vis-a-vis that wish, 2x has a ThumbnailBar to view the items on a "one-at-a-time" basis. The user has to press the arrow keys to pass through all items.
But the ContextMagic utility seems to go the other way: it requires right-clicking on each item to see its thumbnail.
Unless it creates thumbnails for filetypes hitherto not covered by windows/2x, why should we use it?

Thumbnail view would be great - to have to panes, each displaying thumbnails, to move back and forth. As I understand it Nikos' problem is that thumbnail view isn't a part of the list control box. But if this can be figured out, it would be great, particularly if x2 could use the Thumbs.db file already generated by Windows Explorer.
