Open content of folder in another pane?

Open content of folder in another pane?
Is it possible to open folder e. g. from left pane, that it opens content in right pane?

Yes:
with a single folder highlighted,
Alt+Enter will open it in the inactive pane **
then Tab to switch panes or just click in the inactive pane.
** or if you are playing with the dirty rodent, you might prefer Alt+doubleclick as nikos pointed out later in another thread.
