Hi,

I've been trying to get x2 to start in a fixed location, instead of the last directory I was in. I have a lot of sub-sub-sub directories, and will be digging through a tree to get to my files. when I find it and have done what I needed to do, I close the file. It's pretty tedious having to navigate back to the 'heart' of my data drive ("D:\") by hand every time, so I can do something else.
I've fixed it for now by simply passing "D:\" on the command line, which of course works. But it's not the nicest way to do it. It's kinda like having your browser start wherever you left off, without having an option to set a 'Home Page'.
I'm not sure if there's an option in x2 somewhere that I haven't found, but if not I'd like to request it. Something in the config like:

o Start at last used location
o Start at fixed location: [                           ]
o ...are there any other useful options?

if you have "save settings on exit" option checked (Tools | Options) x2 will remember where you left it

another approach would be using bookmarks

It seems like a pretty general option to disable, just to stop saving my last location.. But it does work atleast
