are you perhaps a software museum proprietor? :)
there's no point distributing older versions from my point of view
strictly speaking, nobody can distribute new or older versions without my permission but if somebody was to give you an older version i would probably turn a blind eye to the misdemeanor :)

Sorry, didn't mean to infringe copyright.
(I was meaning the 'Lite' (free) versions.

The Lite versions are also copyrighted material & subject to the stated provisions.

Sorry again !
Let me clarify that I did not wish to infinge on any versions' copyrights. (Anyway, they were free downloads at time of release)

Sorry for the trouble.

Forgot to mention in the earlier posts:

My intention was not to (re)distribute any of the older versions. They would have been for my personal use only.

Nikos! Many shareware authors include all or most of their earlier versions of an application in the download area of their site. Why? Often, earlier versions are more simpler, and much smaller than later ones. Those 486 PC users sometimes want a version that need little memory or resources. Some
folks want versions that specifically omit certain functions. Most important,
often earlier versions can be free of some bugs that later ones contain,
some times with with other applications better, etc., as different bugs come and go as development proceeds.

I think many would be happy to find your earlier version available from
you personally in an archive.

older versions contain bugs and are in general a headache to maintain
x2 is always lightweight and should run fine even in a 386 if you can find one :)

I do  but it's not up ATM. I also have at least four 486 boards with 32-64 Megs each (no boxes) and one each 133, 150 and 200 MHz pentiums. If only I had keys mice and screens for each, I would be the museum proprietor!  :D
