Hi everyone ! Had to post something cuz someone called me old,, only way to prove i dont have rickets in my fingers ,, yet! By the way, what are rickets anyways?..LOL :)

Hello Ash.
Rickets is a deficiency disease that affects the "young" during skeletal growth. It is characterized by soft and deformed bones. It is caused by failure to assimilate and use calcium and phosphurous normally due to inadequate sunlight or vitamin D.

Yet......the definition of Rickety is 1. affected with rickets 2. feeble in the joints(a rickety old man)

So I guess you get rickets when you are young and you get rickety when you are old.

Figure that one out...

lol.

And then you can clarify this with the nasty person who called you old.

Couldn't possibly have been Sal now could it.;)

Ash I think Linda covered the meaning of rickets and quite well I may add. As for rickety, I think if you look that up in dictionary you might find Sal's name next to it...:biggrin:
