How to disable the close-tab-by-double-clicking-feature?

Post by jjheino »

My problem is when I should click just once to change the tab that I'm viewing, I often accidentally double click and my precious folder view gets destroyed. Is there any way to disable this functionality that makes me frustrated almost daily?

you can't disable this but if this happens frequently perhaps your double-click detection speed is too low/high (not sure how you actually do it :)). A trip to control panel can fix the speed to your standards

The reason is that when dealing with files and folders I mostly double-click (opening files, moving in and out of folders) and my nervous system often transfers this action to choosing a tab to view, especially when I'm in hurry. But I will try to re-educate my automatisms - slowing down the double-clicking speed for a time might help to reduce the accident percent.

Thank you for your answer and thank you for the program.
