Suggestion for directory deletion

When deleting a directory, there are 3 possible cases: (1) the directory is empty, (2) the directory contains other directories or zero-byte files, but no significant content or (3) there are non-zero size files in the directory.  Could the warning message indicate which of these cases applies?  One could question whether case 1 should even generate a warning, but I think if any of these generate a warning, they all should.
