x2 Lite strange status line

Post by pdecrocq »

I'm using x2 lite on my personal PC at home under Windows 2000.
I noticed that the status line is all compressed on the right side of the screen (using 1.6.0.1).
Information in the various parts is truncated and unreadable.
Is this a known problem ?
Are there solutions ?
Thanks.

Do you plan to release x2 lite 1.6.5.3 ? When

i don't know ... really there is not much in it, 1653 lite has nearly nothing over 1601. Most of the additions went into the professional version

Oh ! I see. I thought producinf lite version was just a matter of recompiling with a command line switch and that you tried to keep versions synchronised.

this could be a problem with the french translation DLL; quit x2, go into its installation folder, and rename x2t_french.dll to something like x2t_french.dll.bak and see if the english version has the same problem

Nikos,
You got it right ! It works.
Do you plan to release a fix for French DLL (I can help on translations if you wish) ?
