some feature request

Hello all

I've tried 2xExplorer and before I can make it my explorer of choice, I'd like to see some features in a future release:

- Keyboard accelerator customization
so we can define the keyboard shortcut we love (support for function key i.e. F1...F12, windows Key)

- Colors customization
so we can set the default background color and also attached a color for each type of file

- Sorting by name, directory first
I'm not sure it was requested or not my search gave me a weird request talking about opposite between directory and file...
My request is more simple: sort by name by putting durectory first in display, so we can have directory by name order and then files by name order.

- single click in the title bar af the panes to go back in the path
we have to double click right know

and the last one, for a really far far release I think :
- plugin integration
to add any feature missing and keep the soft as light as we want with the functionality we want.

That's all, keep the good work, it have a really *great* potential

most of your recommendations are in the pipeline for xplorer2. In the meantime with 2x:

at present you can do that only via editors like resource hacker. Some familiarity with resource editing is essential

> Sorting by name, directory first

i don't understand you, that's how it works. Only when you sort by date will the folders intermingle with files

> plugin integration

that's a tough one. I can see how this can happen, exposing the program functionality in an automation-friendly object model, and allowing external "plugins" to integrate like browser helper objects in explorer. But this is way off...

hi there,

I'd love to customize the toolbar by adding new applications. Or maybe it would be a good idea to introduce a launchbar instead?
I could not find any word on this in the help.

it's not possible to do this in 2xExplorer
i don't offer this since the quick launch bar on the standard windows taskbar is working very well for that purpose
